Drill Point

The DIN7504K screw has the perfect drill point in order to get through thick materials. This is important as roofing tiles and products are usually too thick for an ordinary screw. It is important for roofing products to be able to keep everything fitted and stable. The diameter of the screw ranges from 2 to 6 mm.

Corrosion

The roof is exposed to the elements and so it important for the roofing products used to have specific qualities. They should be corrosion resistant – this is only relevant to the fastener heads according to the South African National Standards, because it is the exposed part.
